Kaisercraft Q2 is coming......

Have I been slack with no posts for ages......yes and no......yes because there is always something else that seems to need doing and no as my days at home and hence time to do things have reduced....I have gone back to work at NAB 3 days a week. It's great, and lets me have adult conversations during the day but then time for this and scrapping in general has decreased!
On Friday night I went to the Kaisercraft launch of Q2 and the ranges are great! 3 for Xmas (traditional, kids and vintage), a teenage boys range, a girls lilac range and a travel range....I think that should cover everyone! I have taken some photos of the papers and will try and work out how to upload later today........Happy Scrapping!

Busy Week.....

May 15 we took off for a few days in Qld (Hervey Bay and Noosa) with the boys. First few days were great.....sunshine, fun, relaxation........and then the rain started! And it continued for the remaining few days we had, culminating in torrential rain while we ran out to the plane and a very bumpy take off. I know those of you in the affected areas have probably had enough of the rain, but here in Victoria we would love that sort of rain!
Back to normality all too quickly.....which has included a sore throat for me, picking up his first pair of glasses for our older son Patrick, Patrick getting a very nasty cut to his upper lip (A&E left the decision to stitch or not to stitch up to us.....the fact they wanted to do it without anesthetic made that an easy choice), and Samuel just being Samuel.
Have just spent a few hours updating business financials (not my favourite job in the world), and am now going to start tackle stocktaking!

New Ruby Rock-It Range

Bella have released some great new products under a new branding called "Ruby Rock-It". The first range is called Vintage Beauty - a lovely combination of blue and white, with some great designs.
As well as traditional double sided papers, there are also die cut cardstocks and a variety of embellishments - you'll be sure to find something you love in this range!

As well as getting these new products and adding them to the store yesterday, I also got the Grace range of papers and embellishments from Bella - classical black and white. These are so versatile I imagine they can be used for almost any purpose or layout theme.

Now I just have to find time to use all these great products!

Am off to Hervey Bay and Noosa with the boys tomorrow for a few days (weather looks good up that way) and will be back Tuesday - hopefully a little refreshed!

Sale Day

Hi, I'm glad to say the sale went well on the weekend. It was a lot busier than I expected, which is great, but I really needed the cuppa at midday.
Most ladies found something they wanted and some, well, lets just say they are going to be very busy!!!
There were also a couple of people new to scrapbooking and their questions and requests for items have given me food for thought in terms of products.
There is going to be an online ad in the Scrapbooking Memories newsletter which will be issued tomorrow so will wait and see what sort of reaction I get from that.
Apart from that, my youngest son has some sort of bacterial infection and isn't sleeping during the night and very clingy through the day, so I am not getting too much else done.

Hi, have now finished making signs for my clearance sale on Saturday and put a heap of fliers in local mailboxes this morning.......there's still a huge pile to do though so I'll be busy tomorrow and Friday.
I've had a couple of orders already from ladies I know, they are going to be busy!!!!
Have to finish off the sample cards for our weekend away and then sort through my stash of papers and things for the sale so better get started on those!

Hi, Tuesday lunchtime and I have just finished updating the online store with our May Madness sale prices. It's certainly a big job as the website structure I use means you have two ways to change prices - change EVERYTHING using the same discount code, or change each product individually.
It's a good job I got started on Sunday!!!!!
After lunch I need to start making signs for the clearance garage sale on Saturday (notice is in the paper), then finish off the sample cards for a workshop when we have our scrapbooking weekend in July.....can't wait for that!
